I spy: a running rabbit in the clouds....does anyone else see it? Or is my imagination running wild again...no pun intended 😊

Edited to add: rabbit cloud is center towards the bottom 😉

Hope everyone had a great weekend. Enjoy your Sunday, my friends ✌

I am no fan of garden ornaments, but when the owner of this house invited me in to have a look at their latest addition, I could hardly refuse.

I was also glad I did. As she explained that it had been made from washed up driftwood found on the beaches. It makes it a far superior garden ornament.

Better viewed large and thank you for yuur favourites.

As I was leaving my brother's house at midnight, I noticed this sweet rabbit hiding under the neighbours huge umbrella tree.

Best viewed large =)

I have not seen many rabbits this spring yet. Around my place the lawn has been devastated by Chaffer Beatles and draught so if they are around, they are feeding elsewhere.

This evening I've been back at the local center of The Norwegian Society for Protection of Animals, for the first time this year actually. I photographed 4 adorable rabbits and 24 cats for their ads.

In that context, I came to think of all the cute rabbit photos I have in my archive as well, that I haven't showed yet.

This is Solomon, who I photographed in his garden and house, together with the 5 other rabbits, 3 kittens and 3 chinchillas that he lived together with (some permanently and some in foster care).

He was adopted from the Society for Protection of Animals the same year. Sadly he got ill the next month, and didn't make it. But at least he was lucky to spend the last part of his life in this perfect rabbit home

My album of cats and rabbits here.

The Rabbit was introduced to the U.K. by the Romans in the 1st century as a source of food and fur. Some time after this a number of animals escaped to form a wild breeding population , the Rabbit is now accepted as a indigenous species. Rabbits are now widespread throughout Britain and Ireland, but are absent from A few smaller Scottish islands. Rabbits can be found almost anywhere they can burrow with the most suitable areas being banks , woodlands edge and hedgerow. The rabbit has long ears without black tips , about the same length as it’s head , and long hind legs; its colouring is sandy and less reddish than brown hare. The eyes are brown and lighter in colour than it’s cousin the Hare. Body length is around 40cm and they weigh between 1.2 – 2kg , the male is usually heavier and larger compared to the female.
