Here's one for Easter, I must be getting soft, have a great day everyone ! Originally introduced into the Europe for food and fur from its original home of Iberia and now a familiar sight in the countryside.
I often come across designs on bark, trees and other forest growth and natural elements that create patterns that remind me of faces, animals and oddities. I decided it is time to start photographing them.
Also a Happy Smile on Saturday!
Pseudognaphalium obtusifolium. Common names: old field balsam, rabbit tobacco and sweet everlasting. When I first found this little (app 1.5 inches photographed) white flower growing in the front yard I shot this image in my "studio". Not much sliding except for the rail to get the layers for the focus stacking. Happy Slider Sunday - HSS!
It seems the bright yellow heads are female and the brown heads are male!

I always go to Mt. Tolmie every Monday evening to read my Bible and book, listen to music, and pray. I always see a few rabbits every time I go. The last time I put out a little cup of water for them but they didn't seem to drink it. I worry that they might be suffering from the drought and from a lack of food. I'm going to bring them some carrots next week and hopefully it'll rain before then for them. I always enjoy watching them too. 😃 I took this photo yesterday evening of one of them.
Thanks for the visits, faves and comments its greatly appreciated.

Usually when I carry my 200-500mm telephoto lens, she is very alert and too fast to catch up with. Today I am taking landscape picture and she stay close to me all the time.
Thank you for your time and visit! Have a great week ahead!

Rabbits differ from hares in that their young are born blind, furless, and grow up in burrows. Hares, on the other hand, are born covered in fur, with their eyes open. All rabbits, except the American rabbit, live in underground burrows, often deep and complex; while hares live in simple nests located on the ground (as do American rabbits). Hares also do not usually live in groups. Hares are generally larger than rabbits, their ears are longer, and their fur has black markings. Hares have not yet been domesticated - rabbits are often kept as pets.

Another Millie Marotta animal.
A page from Millie's ANIMAL KINGDOM a colouring book adventure.
The deluxe edition of Animal Kingdom is selling at around half price on the internet and must be one of the most popular colouring books ever in what has become a craze that every publisher is trying to cash in on.
In my humble opinion no one beats Millie Marotta and Johanna Basford in these stakes and Millie's deluxe book above is one to drool over!
