I can easily go for a walk where I live now and can count well over 100 individual rabbits in a space of half hour. All are in good condition with no signs or scars of that dreadful myxomatosis disease. With patients you can get fairly close to them in which to take a few photos.
I have a photo of this rabbit from the spring when he was born (see spring 2020 photos). I don't know if it's the same one, but there aren't too many places to hide in the winter around here.
I spy: a running rabbit in the clouds....does anyone else see it? Or is my imagination running wild again...no pun intended 😊
Edited to add: rabbit cloud is center towards the bottom 😉

I was using a macro lens when Toki (rabbit) decided to jump. :-)

As I was leaving my brother's house at midnight, I noticed this sweet rabbit hiding under the neighbours huge umbrella tree.

Usually when I carry my 200-500mm telephoto lens, she is very alert and too fast to catch up with. Today I am taking landscape picture and she stay close to me all the time.

每次帶著200-500mm的長鏡頭來這裡拍照時，這隻野兔機伶的很，一溜煙就不見了。今天來拍風景，她卻在我附近跑來跑去，根本無視我的存在。實在不想放過這個機會，只好悄悄轉過身去不看她，輕手輕腳的換了一個普通的中長鏡頭，再慢慢回過頭來，她還是不跑。這種奇遇很少碰到，真的得感謝老天賜給我這段美麗的邂逅！也祝各位大師有個美好的一週！

Rabbits differ from hares in that their young are born blind, furless, and grow up in burrows. Hares, on the other hand, are born covered in fur, with their eyes open. All rabbits, except the American rabbit, live in underground burrows, often deep and complex; while hares live in simple nests located on the ground (as do American rabbits). Hares also do not usually live in groups. Hares are generally larger than rabbits, their ears are longer, and their fur has black markings. Hares have not yet been domesticated - rabbits are often kept as pets.
