I asked artist Oasa DuVerney , as she was working on this display (along with a collaborator on the project)
what is the last word going to be?
as only: "The song that I sing is part of...."
were the words displayed at the time
She answered that I would have to wait to find out.
I guess that is part of the experience of interacting with this art, taking in the message/quote, and sometimes waiting for the full message to be displayed.
I think it was worth the wait.
BTW--this artwork is shown in a scene from the documentary "The Sun Rises In The East"

i seldom revisit a cane or piece so it was a really interesting project to redo the old quote brooches, especially as a lip cane was the first 'complex' cane i did waayyy back when.
this is one of my favourite variations from my polymer week class.
the speech bubble looks like its on tiny springs!
