A misty view over The Braaid. One of the few photos taken last week. Storm Kate came along toward the end of the week bringing rain and wind putting paid to getting many chances for peaceful photos!
Posting this to keep my count for the year in "52 in 2016" group.
This was taken one evening on the way home. It reminded me of how much i like driving at night when it is just me and the open road. Thank you for checking out my picture. I hope you like it.

Meandering on super quiet country roads. These roads are everywhere in Austria and Germany and link all the small communities. And as you can see, it was another glorious day to bike.
I’m a little behind in posting as the days are long and busy, and sometime the internet connection in hotels is poor. I will catch up soon.
Still walking in and about Harlech down the country lanes and quiet roads.
Again stunning light coming through the trees.
A quiet road between seasons.
Winter slowly loosens its grip, and the mountains begin to breathe again.
Maltraeth Viaduct a lovely quiet road until a car came, I stood to one side so it could pass safely and the driver a male chucked a load of food wrapping paper out of the window, I was so surprised I just stood there, what a lout!!
And yes I picked it up and moved it to a bin.

A winding road curves gently through a lush forest, framed by the warm glow of late afternoon sunlight. The trees arch above, casting shadows that dance across the pavement. Billboards and rustic wooden structures peek out along the path, adding a touch of human presence to the otherwise serene natural setting. This peaceful scene captures the harmony between man-made paths and the untamed beauty of nature, glowing in hues of gold and green.
As a cyclist, I am fortunate to have the opportunity to ride these amazing quiet well-paved roads of the mountains of Japan. I can ride 100 km and maybe have 10 cars pass me. And the views are breathtaking. If you love cycling, you need to add this to your wish-list.

Hedingham 586 X584EGK, a Volvo B7TL Plaxton President, photographed in the countryside near White Colne, Braintree District, England, in the early morning light. The image feels like a quiet rural route working at the start of the day.
A quiet forest road stretches into the distance, bordered by tall pine trees whose long shadows fall gently across the asphalt. The scene captures the calm beauty of nature, where sunlight filters softly through the branches and the path invites a peaceful, unhurried walk.
Driving in Patagonia is an exhilirating experience. This little beaten up car was the only one driving through the windswept barren roads at wintertime for hundreds of kilometres. Peace, tranquility, and breathtaking beauty were the only companions for hours at a time.
Embracing the golden hour on a serene country road, this portrait captures a moment of effortless beauty and youthful spirit. The gentle light filters through the trees, casting a warm glow on the scene and adding to the natural charm of the setting. A perfect blend of relaxed elegance and rural tranquility.

Having put the effort in with a walk up Herma Ness to view Muckle Flugga, it's back to Baltasound where it's time to chill-out with a bite to eat and a beer under a beautiful evening sky! --- Unst, Shetland (May 2009).
This was one long lonely road through the desert in the American Southwest. For the two hours or more we were on this road saw only one car go past and that was the other car that came over on the ferry with us. www.euroshots.com
