The office I worked in on Shaftesbury Avenue was right next to the Angel fancy dress shop, which had a very slowly changing window dressing - except for halloween, when it changed radically and this massive queue forms for outfits. It must be like their Christmas time.
Queuing in ASDA on what must be one of the busiest grocery shopping days of the year.
We picked this aisle, as the nappies will probably come into use soon enough D:
11.15 in the morning. That's a lot of opera lovers queueing up - and the line was at least as long on the inside! I think that this very day the sale of season tickets for 15/16 started, as there was no line for the normal ticket booth inside. Alas, we fell just between productions: a week before Die Zauberflöte, a week after the Ring, the days of our visit nothing. Next time!

Artists queuing outside the Royal Academy of Arts in London to deliver their submissions for this year's Summer Exhibition. Every year, the RA receives over 10,000 entries for the exhibition, and accept about 1,000 of these. Just before taking this photo, I was standing in the queue myself to deliver my own two works! Fingers crossed!

I really like the way the queue for the Haunted Mansion wraps around the porch of the mansion itself.

Cardiff Railway Station Central Square showing the stadium skyline and the hoards of rugby fans disgorging from the Stadium after the match. This is what my day job is, making sure that all these fans get home.
