On a cool January evening on a terrace at Kyaik Hti Yoe Pagoda in Mon State -- A public announcement was made that Kauk-Hnyin-Baung would be distributed free. Warm Kauk-Hnyin-Baung would make a very nice supper on a cool evening.
I took long exposure shots as pilgrims formed a queue. By the time I finished taking photos, the Kauk-Hnyin-Baung had all been given away. Oh well, I got the photos.

My elder daughter Lucy and I are on our way to the Himalayas for a month, firstly to trek around Manaslu, one of the 14 mountains in the world that exceed 8000m and then to go up to Tibet for 8 days.
A coal empty enters double track at South Bend, NE passing one of few searchlight signals left on the Creston Sub. The bottleneck was evident as there was another train behind this one and coal load waiting behind me to enter the single track. Gotta put this spot in the bucket list for summer.

This is a shop inside Westfield Mall in west London. Basically it sells cool t-shirts, but their marketing is so good, there's always a queue outside.
