For personal use only, please!

Print out on iron on transfers, paper your walls, cover notebooks, throw darts at, do whatever you want with these, just please don't sell them! It's not nice to make money off of other people's designs! I spent a good amount of time making these and felt nice and wanted to share, don't make me regret it! :)

ENJOY!

Los Angeles event to raise spirits, glasses & money for a local charity.

In The Seven Poor Travelers, Dickens wrote: "The silent High -street of Rochester is full of gables, with old beams and timbers carved into strange faces. It is oddly garnished with a queer old clock that projects over the pavement out of a grave red-brick building, as if Time carried on business there, and hung out his sign."

Uggg, ANNOYING D-SLR RUINING THE COMPOSITION. *Rage Off*

I thought of photoshopping it out but... too much effort. Too much time. Haha.

All the things I was most eager to hide growing up are the things I want to bedazzle the living bejeezus out of as an adult.

Entrance of Batalion Music Club, Pub and Comics Bar, Prague, Czech Republic

Some background information:

Batalion Music Club is located in Prague's Ríjna street near Wenceslas Square. The history of the club dates back as early as to 1880. During its existence it passed through many changes. It already used to be a rock club in the 1990s. Nowadays the owner calls it a hard rock café as the main kind of music, which is played there, is still hard rock. The club is divided into two floors: the pub downstairs and the music club upstairs.

As Batalion Music Club is open non-stop 24/7 it’s the perfect place for tired night crawlers to rest with a pint of beer while sun is rising and night fading away.

In 2009 the club’s ground floor was renovated in comic style and large-sized artworks of the famous Czech comics illustrator Kája Saudek were attached next to the entrance. Kája Saudek is one of the most important exponents of Czech comics since the second half of the 1960s. He was inspired mainly by the works of Walt Disney and later also influenced by Robert Crumb and Richard Corben.

In the communist era Saudek's style was considered as too "American" and some of his critics labelled his work as an example of bourgeois kitsch. But many of his drawings were republished at the beginning of 1990s, following the fall of the communist regime in Czechoslovakia. In September 2009 three of his works appeared in the top five of Czech comics in a poll organized by the nationwide Czech newspaper Mladá fronta DNES.

Bijoux de l'Autre is a universe of fictional jewelry that shines like real high jewelry, but is queer and poetic. “Bijoux de l’Autre” is an ode to otherness, to beauty that defies gender and norms.
