Protecting the marina (or blocking the view) is the customary cement factory. In Quebec City, it's sometimes used as a screen for open air cinema. I fear the movies will be warped.

Located in the Notre Dame Basilica-Cathedral, the Holy Door of Québec City is one of seven such doors worldwide, and the only one to be found outside Europe.

The Holy Door in Québec City was inaugurated in 2013 during the 350th anniversary celebration of the founding of the Notre-Dame de Québec parish by François de Laval. A Holy Door is generally kept sealed, only being opened in holy years.

The holy door was opened on December 8, 2013, and remained open until December 28, 2014. It again opened from December 8, 2015, to November 20, 2016, for the Year of Mercy after which it was sealed until December 8 2023 on occasion of the 350th anniversary of the Archdiocese of Quebec.It will be sealed again on December 8, 2024.
