Switched to the shorter riser bar from the EMD and it was a blast at Glacier Ridge today. Everybody is saying wide is for DH and narrow for XC, pushup and find your comfy length, don’t be too scientific and just ride, etc. But that’s not me! I need more than what I can read online. What I gained from this is how the bike handles not just going straight but how I can comfortably turn fast and sharp, do some “body english”, hug a tree as close as possible without hitting, shaving precious microseconds. 😛 My arms are short so if the handlebar is too long, I can’t lean the bike as much as I want to and put my body the other way to balance the center of gravity. Btw, the final handlebar will be flat, not a riser bar. I had to move the spacers up and it wasn’t enough. Too high for me. Test again tomorrow. I do appreciate the comments. #mountainbike #rkt9rdo #ninerbikes via Instagram ift.tt/2TrdoOq
