P.S. Rezz room finally made my dream kitty. :D
I'm so sorry for my long absence. I'm at the end of a two week vacation visiting my family in California. I spend the two weeks prior to these family vacations doing double work so I can just enjoy time with my parents and brothers when I'm with them.
That said, when I'm at my parents' house, I wake up before eveyone else because my body is 3 hours ahead on New Jersey time an I'm lucky enough to get to share a room with Rena, my parents' cat. As my mom has mentioned, Rena is not much of a purrer EXCEPT for first thing in the morning and then she purrs up a storm. Here's a photo of me getting some work done early in the morning with a wonderful, purring Rena in my lap. It might not be the most efficient way to work but I'll take working with a cat any day of the week.

Another test I'm carrying out for the guys at Nikon; their new range of smaller DSLRs aimed at the feline market. Poppy's starting to get the hang of it but the lack of opposable thumbs makes menu selection cumbersome and time-consuming at best. The AE-L/AF-L button is awkwardly placed for paws though the higher viewfinder placement is a boon. It's bloody hard to teach them the rule of thirds too.
