Back-lit Cattle Egret
From Cornell:
The short, thick-necked Cattle Egret spends most of its time in fields rather than streams. It forages at the feet of grazing cattle, head bobbing with each step, or rides on their backs to pick at ticks. This stocky white heron has yellow plumes on its head and neck during breeding season. Originally from Africa, it found its way to North America in 1953 and quickly spread across the continent. Elsewhere in the world, it forages alongside camels, ostriches, rhinos, and tortoises—as well as farmers’ tractors.
From the photographer - Cattle egret are quite numerous here in the cattle state (FL).

The three Punky Bears in Mummy Marian's house, bored on a rainy day in January, decide to do something.
PUNKINHEAD: (looks at a cupboard in the living room )
Hey Punky and Scottie...shall we see what's in that cupboard (points paw at the cupboard).
SCOTTIE;
Well....I'd like to, but we'll have to ask Mummy Marian if it's allowed.
PUNKY:
We can't, because she's shopping.
PUNKINHEAD:
Obviously...we tried to ask her, but if she's not here then we can't do anything else about it. We have done our best. So we are going to look in the cupboard.
Punky climbs on Scottie's back and Punkinhead then climbs on Punky's back and opens the door.
PUNKY:
Wow!!!! Look at that...what stuff is hidden in there.
All sorts of things are being looked at. Photo albums, books and CDs
Everything is mixed together.
Suddenly....
There are sounds of footsteps and a slamming door in the hallway.
PUNKY:
Quickly guys.... sit down and look ahead. Mummy Marian is back from shopping.
SCOTTIE:
I see her entering the room.....
ME:
What are you guys doing?????
PUNKINHEAD:
Well..uh..Punky wanted to sit in the dark and...uh....
PUNKY:’
I didn't want to sit in the dark at all. You wanted to.
ME:
No arguing. I know, though. You sneaked into the cupboard while I was away....isn't it?
SCOTTIE:
We got bored Mummy Marian
We can't play outside because it's raining.
ME:
Hm..I have an idea. You guys clean up and then we'll have hot chocolate with whipped cream.

Punky Punkinhead wishes everyone a lovely sunny day
Punkinhead, ‘the sad little bear’, was a rubber toy bear with a tuft of unruly orange hair. He was designed and developed as a character in a children’s book by the Canadian cartoonist Charles Thorson. The bears were produced by Merrythought. (Beautifully hand crafted in Merrythought a British historical factory. The plush is mohair and the paws are made of cotton velvet).
Punkinhead was created by the T. Eaton Company, who were hoping to emulate the success Montgomery Ward had with Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer. Once the Eaton's marketing department had developed the initial concept, Thorson was commissioned to flesh out the idea. Thorson chose the name 'Punkinhead' as it was his nickname for his son.

When I was taking a photo of Punky today, I got this sort of weird
shot of her...her hair even looks totally different from the correct
color....I love how deceiving the camera can be at times!
My wife's favorite cartoon is Bob's Burgers. In one episode, the mother character dresses up to read to children as a character she named "Punky Bookster."
This gave me the idea to find a redhead to model for me in a punk look, preferably a woman who was around when punk was the thing to be. Luckily, I found a gal willing to have some fun posing in the local library, and this is the result.
