I'm going to explore more black and white photography. I'm using Erik Kim's free lightroom presets to mimic Kodak's TriX400. This is because I'll be shooting film simultaneously with digital and I want to have a certain consistency in my work.

Because you do not always get to see a Premier Padmini, that too in such a first class condition. The owner happened to take note of me clicking the photograph and was quite interested to see how the final shot turned out to be.

The sun throws up myriad hues on the Eastern horizon as the City of Pune lies shrouded in layers of overnight fog. The temple in the foreground and tall builidings in the background catch the sibilant light of the rising sun to light up the urban candor.

This photograph was shot in late November 2010.

As of now ( in early April ) the millenia old lava formed plateau is slowly firing up its summer griddle and it is a hot place to be in. Dry, hot and uncomfortable.
