I guess, in fairness, it's fall/autumn somewhere, right? *sigh* I'm going to miss my favorite season...

 

TRP: It's Pumpkin Time

Eventually everything turns into a pumpkin again.

  

Today's Random Fact: Last night i found this pumpkin abandoned on the curb. He's actually a jack o'lantern, but he's shy so he didn't want you to see his face just yet. I've never carved a jack o'lantern myself, and i'd probably chop off my fingers if i tried, so Mr. Pumpkin and his ready-made face are sort of perfect for me. It's kind of like a fairy tale. :)

Some kind of prehistoric bird?

On a day trip to the Westham Island Herb Farm, I spotted this neat chicken...she stands guard over her pumpkin so well, but alas, doesn't lay any eggs!

 

She's made of straw, with wild grasses for her tail
