Come to the Pumpkin Patch at Seminole Heights United Methodist Church down on the corner of Central & Hanna in Seminole Heights. The Patch will be open 12-8 p.m. Sunday through Friday, and 9 a.m. – 8 p.m. Saturdays until Halloween.
Dry ground is scarce this Spring at our place. I was able to plow up some of the ground on Sunday afternoon without burying the tractor. On Monday afternoon we had warm, sunny, and windy conditions that allowed me to get the plowed areas disced off in the afternoon. Another 1 to 2" of rain is forecast in the next couple days. I have giant pumpkin plants that I started in pots that need to get planted soon!

Pumpkin plants are all in pots in my polytunnel, ground getting rolled tomorrow and then we can put down a woven membrane to plant through.
this area will be protected by a 5 line electric fence to keep the deer/dogs/humans off it while the pumpkins grow
