Tell me dear about the night we met. About the light on the wall as it peered around my form from your front door. About the way you had to crook your knees to kiss me. Tell me dear, the one about the leaves and the trees and the way you liked my hat falling over my eyes. My eyes like half moons and your body the lake at which they’d squint. Tell me about the way I would wade in the lake, hands like pulp and paper for staying too long. But you never minded. The water was warm and the winters always so cold.
It was then, dear, that I knew. Memories cast like soft watt bulbs. Captured and kept glances through hat brims and leaves and fingers. Your breath like summer and your bite an aged Brandy, I never noticed the empty rooms and cupboards. Dust in place of credenzas stacked with records but we danced anyway.
Tell me, my love, about the time we pulled bodies from our bodies. About the cloth you wore in your hair. About the smell of salt and your pinching stare. We were soldiers then. We were lovers then. Bodies drawn from bodies like seeds from an orange and the lighting was perfect.
Tell me the one about the scrambled egg whites and the French funny papers. The pressed coffee and the kids sitting by the window. Tell me dear, how the light peered around them from the sun streaming through. It was yesterday, I know, but tell me still. My memory’s not so good and your breath still reminds me of summer. Tell me again how we laughed and frightened the dog. Tell me about their hands like pulp from soaking in too much water.

Auch auf diesem Pop-Art-Kunstwerk finden sich die beiden Hauptakteure von Pulp Fiction wieder. Das mit hochwertiger Acryl-Farbe auf Leinwand gemalte Werk ist natürlich kein Poster oder Kunstdruck und ein absolutes Unikat. Neben der DVD oder Blu-Ray ist ein solches Kunstwerk ein Must-Have für jeden wahren Fan.
Zum Kunstwerk:
Acryl auf Leinwand. Die Leinwand ist auf einen Keilrahmen gespannt und auf der Rückseite festgeklammert. Das Motiv ist über die Ränder gemalt, so dass das Kunstwerk ohne Rahmen aufgehängt werden kann. Zum Schutz vor Schmutz, Feuchtigkeit und Licht wurde das Kunstwerk speziell versiegelt.
