Not exactly "twinning."
I was planning to shoot an adorably cute "twins" photo of these two Pullip Amelia dolls. But when I pulled Amelia No. 1 out of her box she wasn't wearing any clothes!
It was late and I didn't feel like going out to the storage shed and rummaging around in the tubs using a flashlight, so this is what'cha get today.
Hi guys! My exams are over and I've finally got some free time (it's national holiday in Poland now so I'm not in school). After a long while I've made a proper outdoor photoshoot :) There are even more pics at my web, www.pullip.pl/, which now even has an English version! (you need to scroll way down to the bottom and of the page and click a little button with the British flag to see it). It's all a bit messy though, I've been neglecting my blog lately... There are some more photos from the previous shoot there too :)

I've been waiting to do an outdoor photoshoot with anemones forever, and I'm pretty proud of how it turned out! It's mainly because I managed to shoot during the golden hour and I like the lighting ;) Avery is - suprisingly - wearing something I didn't sew! I'm pretty sure this blouse the first item of clothing I bought for my dolls (excluding shoes of course), I basically always make my own stuff :)

This is a custom faceup on a fair/natural Pullip MiIO kit for Angela S.
Our last creation for was Helen of Troy, so in keeping with the Greek mythology theme, Angela mentioned how she wanted a strong and formidable character. Of course there are many, but we decided to go with Artemis, the goddess of the hunt and the sister of Apollo.
We also wanted to do something more unique with this custom as Artemis has quite an established image and we wanted to break away from that. Through our research, we found that one of Artemis' symbols is the stag. We then thought to ourselves, "Why does a goddess even need to be human?" So we decided to incorporate her symbol right into her faceup. We wanted her to look like she was barely containing the animal in her and that just right under her skin, the face of a stag was looking back at you.
Thus we gave her light blushing reminiscent of the patterns found on stags. She has huge eyes, framed by inhumanly long eyelashes, but there is no gentleness in her expression, only determination and strength. Finally, her eye chips reflect the beautiful starry night sky which she hunts under.

- Solle!!! – Disse Sohee se aproximando do garoto depois do jantar. Era tão difícil encontra-lo, ainda mais à noite, pois logo depois de comer ele se trancava no quarto para estudar. – Olha o que eu ganhei! – E mostrou um violino novinho em folha para ele.
- Nossa! É um belo instrumento. – Disse olhando para o objeto nas mãos da garota, mas mais interessado em seus dedinhos longos e nas unhas com glitter.
- Né?! Os pais da Luna me deram, por ter acolhido ela aqui em casa. Eu disse que não precisava, que ela era a minha amiga, mas eles insistiram tanto!
- Os pais dela possuem bom gosto. E muito dinheiro. Esse violino é um dos mais caros! – Falou admirado.
- Eu sei, por isso fiquei ainda mais constrangida. Mas eu prometi a eles que aprenderia a toca-lo melhor que qualquer pessoa. – E olhou para ele com os olhos brilhando. – Agora eu só preciso de um professor pra me ajudar.
- O que? Nem pensar!!! – Disse com o estomago se revirando e com uma pontinha bem pequena de esperança no coração.
- Ah, Solle! Por favor! Você sabe tocar violino melhor que eu, e eu não tenho dinheiro para pagar um professor. – Disse puxando a manga da blusa do garoto pra lá e pra cá.
- E EU vou dar aulas de graça? – Disse fingindo estar inconformado, mas por dentro estava radiante. Seria uma chance de passar mais tempo ao lado dela.
- Você deu aulas para a Ayesha, ora... – Sohee disse isso com uma pontada de mágoa que fez o coração de Solle passar da euforia para a tristeza profunda.
- Ela pagava pelas aulas, So... – Disse com um nó na garganta.
- Hum... Então eu posso te pagar com doces... O que acha? – Falou animadinha, olhando para ele esperançosa.
- Tudo bem, tudo bem. Me convenceu. – Disse sorrindo melancolicamente para ela. - Você me conhece tão bem...
- É porque eu te conheço a minha vida toda! Se perguntarem devo saber até seus sabores de chocolate favoritos, em qual ordem você come um bolo com sorvete e... Solle! Você está chorando? O que aconteceu? Você está bem? – O garoto nem percebeu quando as lágrimas começaram a rolar.
- Chorando? Não! – Disse passando a mão no rosto, espantando aquelas visitantes enxeridas. - Acho que é só uma irritação nos olhos. Desculpa, acho que vou ter que ir passar algo neles.
- Isso não é irritação! O que está acontecendo? – Sohee franzia as sobrancelhas preocupada.
- Nada! Está tudo bem. Eu só preciso de um colírio. Eu vou lá... tchau, Sohee. Começamos amanhã. Tá bom?!
- Tá bom nada! – E segurando o braço do garoto o puxou para bem perto e o abraçou.
I'd like to share Calliope with you. (Pronounced: Ka-lie-oh-pee) This is dedicated to Missy, who had such a sweetie (Sakura) that I just knew she was my MDD (Most Desired Dal). I finally got one for me but as usual, couldn't take her from her box. Melissa offered Sakura to me in trade and she was the BEST thing that's happened to me in a long time. Miss, I hope you like what I've done with her. ^_~.
So, without further ado, I'd love to welcome Calliope to our family. <3
