This is my new pullip: Shinku!!

My Pullip Nana-chan! I don't usually get Pullip releases so soon after they come out, but she was just too special. Nana-chan has been here about a week and she is just great! She has a wonderful faceup, I love that she has green eyes, and I actually really like her wig! The hair color is pretty, and fibers seem higher quality than most other Pullip wigs: it's more matte and less kinky than usual. I'm just scared of ruining her curls! Unfortunately, she doesn't come with shoes, which is a little disappointing, and she comes with less stock than usual.
Overall, I highly recommend getting this doll If you've been on the fence about it, Pullips always seem to look so much better in person and Nana-chan is no exception! With all the anime collab dolls coming out lately, I haven't been too impressed with the Pullip releases (and especially at the lack of Dals which are my favorite), so seeing Nana-chan was a breath of fresh air. I hope Groove has more releases up their sleeve up to Nana-chan's quality, and I especially hope that they have some Dals planned!

Voici la doll ! La déballer est une véritable horreur , ils ont recouvert tout son corps de scotch et il faut enlever l'outfit ( qui est très dur à enlever x) ) pour tout lui ôter :') Mais je l'aime quand même ♥

My first Pullip is Youtsuzu and she is still in her box. I was collecting dolls in kimonos at this time, and I discovered the Pullip world thanks to Youtsuzu. As soon as I received her, I looked for another Pullip to debox and play with, I was so amazed by the beauty of this doll !
My first deboxed Pullip is Adsiltia and I usually consider her as my first Pullip : )
We had a Pullip Meet today in San Francisco's Japantown. Unfortunately not enough stands means poor "Romantic Alice" and "LOL Miku" are obstructed. :(

well, this is what became of my suigintou.
one of my other dolls stole her obitsu many years ago and i didn't put her on another body so her head stayed in a box for a while. i had really fallen out of love with my first pullip :( i'm too sentimental to sell my first pullip but i just couldn't get a look i loved for her and in reality she had too many nicks and scratches on her faceup that anyone who really wanted a suigintou '07 wouldn't want one in her condition. i decided to give her a new faceup and tried to keep the color scheme in her original pink/black/grey theme, but in my own style.
i'm much more in love with her and had a lot of fun doing this faceup. i went out of my comfort zone with the crazy eyeliner (even tho mine comes out like that on my own face sometimes lol) and i really love how colorful she is now!

Groove handed out stickers with purchases during SDCC, there were ten stickers six of them featured unproduced prototypes from the artwork collaboration series.

Starting with Pullip Cheshire Cat, Pullips have a new feature that allows them to have partially open eyes instead of just opened or closed. I opened up Pullip Lupinus to rechip her and took pictures of the mech for anyone curious. The only difference appears to be the new blink levers. Ela já tem até nome, vai ser Zoey em homenagem a protagonista da série House of Night (Marcada, Traída, etc). Sou TOTALMENTE viciada nessa série, já li os 6 livros disponíveis, e a zoey do livro tem cabelo preto e é branquinha que nem a naomi, então, achei o nome ótimo xD
A Little Party Never Killed Nobody (All We Got)
Mais cedo naquele mesmo dia, Erika entrou novamente em seu camarim, ele não era o original anterior ao conde, era uma versão melhorada que ele deu para ela. Era um quarto reservado e aconchegante com espaço para ela praticar dança dentre outras atividades. Durante sua busca por acessórios acabou encontrando seus gigantescos leques de dança, como era bom revê-los! Foi impossível tocar neles e não poder dançar, no começo ela se sentiu boba e sem jeito já fazia tanto tempo, mas andar é como andar de bicicleta depois que se aprende não se esquece mais e assim ela rodopiou pelo aposento mexendo com graciosidades e rapidez os imensos leques de plumas.
Anne of Green Gables is one of my all time favourite books, so this girl was one of my first pullips.
I didn't like her too much when I saw her in person-she didn't really remind me of the character.
I even thought about selling her a few times, but I ended up liking her a lot more after taking her hair down and redressing her.
None of the effects are photoshopped in-the only thing I did was change the contrast and tone down some of the yellows.
The Pullip body arrived! I purchased this on ebay from AmiAmi; I ordered it in the early hours of Saturday morning, and it arrived from Japan here in the UK not two days later, on Monday morning! That is some insanely good service.
Anyway, I think we might be onto a winner here. I'm much more enthusiastic about the proportions of this body so far as movie accuracy goes, although the skinniness does mean none of the Disney Store outfits really fit her. It's a nice body, and funnily enough, the Pullip neck joint works perfectly; however, she can only turn her head from side to side, like a vintage Barbie, and can't rotate her head. If I'm feeling brave, we'll see how the J-doll body compares when it arrives (from within the UK, and it's already taken longer than the body from Japan!). Will try and tone the body to fit the head a bit better, at least.
Incidentally, folks - the brunette classic Rapunzel has appeared back on the US DIsney Store website! Hooray! I hope we get her back here in the UK, too.

Confesso que quase tive que vender os rins para poder adotá-la. No entanto, ela veio com um preço super em conta, graças à Nique!
E agora ela está do jeito que idealizei. Acho que não trocarei os olhinhos dela. Este tipo de olhinhos que está vindo nas dolls mais novas é mais bonito, ao meu ver, do que o das dolls mais antigas.
Mas enfim, muito orgulho desta garota.

Pullip Steampunk Zappa doll
Yeah, I know I posted a pic of this one just a little while back, but the weather's hot, I'm tired and cranky, and so a quick iPad snapshot with a bunch of crappy filters layered on to disguise (or exaggerate) how crappy the original snapshot is is the best I can do today, so there ya go.
