Paris plages - blue & yellow
Paris-Plages ("Paris Beaches"; till 2006 Paris-Plage in the singular) is a plan run by the office of the mayor of Paris that creates temporary artificial beaches each summer along the river Seine in the centre of Paris, and, since 2007, along the Bassin de la Villette in the northeast of Paris.
Every July and August, roadways on the banks of the Seine are closed off and host various activities, including sandy beaches and palm trees.
It was around 2 a.m.
The crowds were gone, the stone cooling beneath her.
She lay back on the steps of the DOM, letting the night steady her—resting off what the evening had taken.
Not dramatic. Not hidden.
Just a human moment, held by old stone until morning.
at the bustling place des lices in saint tropez, an older man sits on a bench, his posture slightly hunched as he watches the boule game unfold before him. there is a palpable distance between him and the others, not just physically, as he sits at the farthest edge of the bench, but also emotionally. the light filters through the trees, casting dappled shadows on the ground, adding a sense of quiet isolation to the scene. the game carries on with its lively interactions, yet he remains a silent observer, perhaps lost in his thoughts or memories.

This young couple caught my eye as they entered this church in Pisa. Dressed all in white, they blended in with the imposing facade of the building, when suddenly they stood out from the rest, fitting into the open doorway... White on black in a white frame.

On view at the spur of the High Line “Brick House” is a 16-foot-tall bronze bust of a Black woman. Part of Simone Leigh’s “Anatomy of Architecture” series that merges architectural forms from different regions of the world with the human body, this bust is just as impressive to people driving up along Tenth Avenue and then underneath the sculpture.
Photo taken in my local park which I have been visiting regularly since the London Lockdown. It's not somewhere I would normally go for a photo-walk but it was full of interesting potentials.
I'm starting to shoot film - this shot is from my first ever roll (unaltered and uncropped). Altered Landscape series is an oxymoron of sorts - capturing reality on film, but making it surreal...
Decay of the walls, of the environment and of a man at the end of the evening who no doubt needs a good little nap before finishing the journey home...

Décrépitude des murs, de l’environement et d’un homme en fin de soirée qui sans doute a besoin d’une bonne petite sieste avant de finir la route jusque chez lui...
