This large, inviting space with bare brick pillars and long wooden tables spills onto the peaceful enclosed garden of the affiliated Masaya Hostel. Ecuadorian-international food is served up in this casual, relaxed setting, where beef in chimichurri sauce, quinoa croquettes, Ecuadorian-style ceviche, burgers, wraps and pastas are all possibilities.

 

Slake your thirst with good coffee, European and South American wines and cocktails such as the Amazonas gin, made with naranjillas, green lemons and passion fruit. Kids will love the garden with its hammocks and beanbags.

I'm starting to shoot film - this shot is from my first ever roll (unaltered and uncropped). Altered Landscape series is an oxymoron of sorts - capturing reality on film, but making it surreal...

toward the screens, but his presence lingers more in reflection than in motion. the floor doesn’t just mirror him — it holds him in place, as if memory came before the step. geometry and glass create a pause in time, while the sun draws a silent frame around it all.
