i believe that guarding your heart & your mind & being more mindful of our words & our actions are all interrelated. in fact, our heart can also be defined as our mind or our seat of emotions. if our mind & emotions are well guarded---you better believe our words & actions will follow suit. as luke 6:45 says:
A good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart, and an evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in his heart. For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of.
i want my heart to be full of God's love & God's Word so that my overflow would be spilling out to all those around me. i don't want evil stored up in my heart! i don't even want to give satan an opportunity to have any more moments of my days. i lived for myself too long. many days were wasted. but i have tasted that the Lord is good, & i am not going back down that selfish road again!
