This photo is from a session I took when my youngest was preparing for her high school prom.
My youngest is Autistic and has gone a long way to be able to go to such an event.
My oldest offered to help her with makeup and hair.
Just a few years ago she would scream when washing her hair, refuse to wear anything but plain pants (not jeans) and a T, and here she wore a dress and light makeup and had her hair washed and dried.
It's an amazing milestone.
The photo combines both sisters into one, with my youngest staring at the mirror, and my oldest is shown with her ear.
I love this moment!
My son went to his high school prom this week and of course I had to take a few shots of the momentous event. Here's the girls comparing shoes.
Best dressed! Seriously with all those dresses out there I think girls could do better with prom....
Instead of a Christmas holiday party, MKE celebrates in January. Last year, our party theme was 'sex drugs and rock n roll.' This year? We did prom, MKE-style. There was a disco ball, wine, swanky clothes, dancing, a PHOTOBOOTH and KARAOKE!!! yay!

My friend hired me to take prom photos of her daughter last Saturday.
This was taken in their beautiful home. It was so much fun and she was such a sport, posing for me and her mom!
