The Chattanooga Public Library is introducing a new series of free LiSTEM workshops this summer.

LiSTEM is Literacy based learning through STEM concepts: Literacy, Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics.

Electronics Engineering for Tweens is a project workshop focused on connectivity of mini circuit parts and gadgets used to create bigger inventions. Circuit-boards with specific functions are engineered to snap together with magnets to make larger circuits. Learn how light, sound, sensors, buttons, thresholds, pulse and motors work together for prototyping, learning and fun! Get creative and let’s build together!

The lighthouse was built in 1920, is 31 meters high, and has a working light. Worth a visit when in Rabat.
