Construction begins on Regency Lofts, which is a community of 120 new apartment homes located at 3232 Dixie Drive (77021), which will be available to people at all income levels, with a focus on providing affordable homes to workers in essential businesses, such as nurses, childcare workers, cashiers, and custodians. Along with state-of-the-art apartments, the development will include a fitness center, business center, and other amenities, as well as a stand-alone pre-kindergarten center available to families in the surrounding area.
