A must for me when visiting the beautiful coastal town of Aldeburgh is taking some photographs and a walk on the beach. I know I have photographed this same scene many times before as it doesn’t change much but using Procreate to make it a little different from the others I’ve taken.

What a beautiful woman 😭:). How she ended up here, maybe a portal again 😭:). I had this idea for a long time and the 'force' wants this drawn first, apparently :). It's been a while I've used Procreate for any serious drawing, for many reasons - the app itself is amazing, it's sad the creators haven't ported this app to desktop yet... why, perhaps Apple doesn't want to lose sales on it's Ipad Pros against the Wacom CIntiqs, haha :). The default procreate brushes are already great and can be tweaked not twerked, lol. The other issue is not the app itself but the Ipad itself - screen colour accuracy is horrible and final images needs to be colour corrected on my calibrated Cintiq screen, hence porting to desktop is a logical reason for pros. For this drawing, there is no black & white head profile since I painted straight to colour - that's how I used to do it & the harder way too but it seems quicker this time around :). The Procreate brushes I mostly used for this drawing is just the Flat paint brush and the Nikko brush, sometimes the oil paint brush :). Thanks for looking. Next drawing is still Jennie 😭:). Drawing challenge: Wolf, Tyrolean Hat, Carrying Massive Backpack. The sheep kicked my butt, not very happy with them.
Used the RetroSupply “Woodland Wonderland” brush pack for Procreate drawing app in this, which was sooooo much fun. It has Little Golden Books-like textures & each tool feels tactile. Yummy.
Another Transmundane Tuesdays drawing challenge I didn’t have time for several years ago, but finally scratched off the list recently.
This was a wonderfully quick drawing. I knew exactly what to draw & how to draw it. Boom. It’s the decision-making while drawing that bogs me down —like I hit decision overload. This one had the luxury of thinking about it for several years.
Also began another Transmundane Tuesdays drawing challenge yesterday as well, which is going to take longer. Glad to be drawing. Yes, I screenshot the drawing-challenges several years ago, which I didn’t have time to draw at that moment. Now is that future moment.
