Sir Thomas Sean Connery (* 25. AUG 1930 in Edinburgh, Schottland; †31. OCT 2020 in Nassau, Bahamas)
For Aldo Pacheco.
This is an iPad painting, made with a beta version of #iColorama. I used several images from Aldo, as sources to make this.
Made with iColorama, Procreate and Tangled FX, on an iPad Pro, with Apple Pencil.
I made this specifically to use on a card I was making in Bill and Sioux Atkinson's PhotoCard app (iOS). It is a great app, brilliantly crafted. The quality the printing, laminating, and the intelligence behind the process of sending these oversized post cards around the world, is impressive. The price is extremely fair, the quality is the best I have seen.
If you have been living under a rock, or if you were born to late to experience the emergence of the Macintosh Computers, Bill Atkinson is the extraordinary man whose work is the reason I bought my first Mac, in 1984/85, and why more than thirty years later, I am still passionate about Apple. His compassion is in the iPad I use, today.
Three American Oystercatcher's eggs lay in the sand. I discovered them while walking the beach. I informed the Hempstead Conservation people and he came immediately. I helped him place the a roped off area surrounding these eggs. After we completed the task, I took a quick shot of her eggs.

Apps - Procreate, Repix, Stackables, Leonardo
So I mostly used Procreate on this one I painted the model over the actual photo - painted her skin and hair and painted out her pearls. I pretty much painted out my landscape photo. I got a sensu brush and love it.
