My daughter had mentioned that she will need to go and purchase pencils for the boys (all three of them) going back to school at the end of the current summer holiday. My wife said "don't be silly" the boys have loads of pencils here that the use for drawing and sometimes "writing!"
So what happened ~ to save silly daughter going out to purchase a bunch of pencils my wife sat in the garden and sharpened lots and lots of pencils ... problem solved!!

ODC-Problem Solved
I had to replace one of my tires so I used the bologna tire to get to the garage and get the tire changed.
Last spring and early summer the robins built a nest on top of this A/C unit. We had to do something to stop them since we needed to use the unit and I didn't want to harm the babies so Craig, our Handyman put a screen above the unit and now there isn't enough room for any bird to get in there. We have these screens on the other A/C units so this was the last one. I'm happy!

A GMA Relief ...
Just in case this isn't as clear as it should be, the car boot opened too high for me to reach to close it, panic at the supermarket! However, Ingenious husband steps in and shortens the strut (with a piece of cord) that holds the boot open, and now I can reach to close the boot comfortably.
I had trouble with stinky attitudes about helping to wash the dishes. But then I pulled out the fancy gloves. #problemsolved #dishwashing #washthedishes #chores #handmade #DIY
I am sorry to bore you with my portraits with ghetto lighting. I redid the watermark putting it on a transparent canvas 3000 pixels wide and 2400 pixels high. The type is about 230 pts for my name and smaller for the rest of the type. I made a brush preset by clicking on edit and then on "define brush preset" I then opened it by clicking on the brush tool and saved it as a brush preset. I processed the portrait in LightRoom again bumping up the luminosity and used the adjustment brush to "soften skin" high. I mess with the eyes with the "iris enhance" and "brighten eyes" all presets you can get for free from Matt Klokowski's LightRoom Killer Tips website. I took it into Photoshop and vignetted it and then sharpened it. AND used the brush tool to add the much more clear watermark.

Sanibel, Florida. This beach has changed a lot since the hurricane of a few years ago. I also believe that the currents have changed as well. This place is now kind of stinky as compared to a few years ago. It sill has a few egrets hanging around. But this beach now devoid of a lot of the old driftwood has lost its character. But if you look hard, there's still some shots left at this old beach.
Seems you now have more accumulation of junk along the shore that you did not have before Charley which accounts for the smell there now of rotten fish.

I'm really getting to love the polaroid back on Holga, but one of the really annoying problems with instant film is that it is really hard to manage in the field, because you have to hold on to the photographs until they are dry, and that can be a bit of a problem if you want to keep shooting. I mean, how many hands do you have ?
So I built this box, yay. It took me forever, but I got it done, and it works as I hoped. I love it when a plan comes together :-)
