While in Daytona, Florida we went on a tour of the Ponce De Leon Inlet light house museum. This image is from the large fresnel lens they have on exhibit in their Lens exhibit building. Even though it's just a part of the lens, I wanted to capture the play on light from the prisms.

this is another one for saffron, who is currently loving yellow and white interiors. my living room walls are actually painted white; however, i mixed mica flakes into the paint so depending on the time of day/reflection of the sun, the walls change colour. here is what it looks like in the morning and through most of the day (you can just make out a silvery purple blue reflection); during sunset hours, however, the room takes on a lovely golden sheen.

Rebel XT @ F5 ISO 800 wtih a 28-55mm lense. Attached prism filter gives the multi-image effect. Exposure time of 10 seconds per shot a total of 380 images. North star in triple in the bottom left.
