Building an enclosure for my Printrbot, the Schlabricator. The problem to solve is keeping printer at temperature in an unheated space. Another benefit will be to keep printer clean from dust and other contaminants. The plexiglass is off-the-shelf 18" x 24" panels from Home Depot, the rest of the hardware is 3DPrinted.

Printers are a necessity for every college student now and found in almost all business offices and available for public use in libraries. The idea of printing was introduced primarily through Johannes Gutenberg's invention of the printing press (Straubhaar & LaRose). Until this time the number of books were very limited and only available to the wealthy who could afford hand-written copies. Now printers make it easy to print multiple copies of a document and save people time and money by saving them from having to go to a printing company or library to print off a document. I don't know what I would do without a printer to print off teachers notes or papers or research articles found online.
My new printer didn't come with the powersupply, luckily, my current HP 3180 has the same ish power requirements...
