This view taken during our trip on board Via Rail's 'The Canadian' train from Vancouver to Toronto. This lounge is at the rear of the train, offering the chance to see where you have just been, meet fellow passengers or get loaded from the open bar.
These amazing 'Park Cars', as they are known, were built in the 1950's by the Budd Car Co. and also include a bar and short 24-seat dome observation deck above four sleeping cabins with private bathrooms.
