Taken with a 1974 Olympus OM-1 on Ilford HP-5 400 B&W film, developed with Ilford solutions at home and scanned with Canon 8800F. I'm still exploring this medium and developing technique, so open to any comments or suggestions!

This is a bit depressive piece. Why? Next week I take my final exams at the high school and I am studying day and night these days. But that's not really the sad thing expressed by this shot. It's just my reason for posting depressive photo.

In this shot is expressed the depressive stereotype. Preparing tea! So common thing! I do it five times a day! Every day; All my life. And it's not the tea that makes me worried. I love tea, in fact. It's the whole world I haven't experienced yet. I am still young and I fear living in daily stereotypes that kill us. A kettle, a tea can, a cup. Thing that are always together. Hunting us together. And we need them. Why do they hunt us? God! Now I really reveal how strong story is in this photo...

About the processing... It's taken with built-in flash mirrored to the ceiling via piece of paper. The background is blured a bit more, but I think it's still believable. Added some grain to achieve a real film look, but it doesn't look natural enough to me... I will have to keep experimenting with this look. Yeah, that's it.

Found this in the archives...

Here's Mike shaking his head and grumbling as he comes toward me. He had set up his tripod to capture the proposal. But I rarely stay put and had moved on to the top of the next dune by the time he was done with his setup. Mike motioned for me to go back to him.

In true Stubborn Sharon style, I refused.

Finally, I whipped out my cell phone and told him it was prettier where I was so why would I go back to the ugly spot? LOL

He packed up again and came to join me while I took photos of him.

I am evil.

He proposed.

I said Yes.

The show is one of the largest modelling exhibitions in the UK, blending the full spectrum of model creation from traditional model engineering, steam locomotives and traction engines through to more modern gadgets and ‘boys toys’ including trucks, boats, aeroplanes and helicopters.

Over 45 national and regional modelling clubs and societies and associations will be displaying their member’s work and competing to win the prestigious Society Shield. In total, nearly 2,000 models will be on display. Around 14,000 visitors are expected to visit over the next three days.
