Angela yanked me out of bed this morning to show me a very faint + sign on a pregnancy test. It turned out that the test had expired six months earlier, so we didn't know what to think.
Don't tell anyone, but we're 5 +2 wks pregnant!! We're not telling everyone yet, only very close friends and family at the mo, and all you flickr'ers too! It's early days, so keep your fingers crossed for us! Thanx. We're so excited!!
Ok, now that I'm further along (writing this at 12wks 4 days, I feel I can give a bit of back ground about the wonderfulness that was finding out I was pregnant!...
So, we decided a while back that we'd try for a baby, and that we'd try just after the wedding, not because we're old fashioned and think that's the way to do it, but just that it seemed sensible to get through the big day without me having morning sickness and the possibility that I wouldn't fit into my dress!!!
Anyway, having worked out there was a chance I was prego a week after our wedding, I took a test...... but it seemed to come back negative. I examined the pee stick and was adamant that I could see a very very faint line when holding it at a particular angle whilst directing it at the bathroom window. Ben thought I was just being hopeful and we left it at that for a couple of days. That was until the Wednesday. I decided to take a another test, but didn't tell Ben as I thought he'd tell me not to, I was sure he'd think it would get my hopes up and I'd get upset with another negative result. Well, the two lines popped up at the same time and I ran out of the bathroom into our bedroom, where Ben was trying to start a conversation about who knows what and I grinned out 'I AM pregnant!' We had a surreal chat, it just didn't feel real, but the ball was rolling!
the one on the top was positive... it's just *really* hard to see. i took the one on the bottom right before the photo, the other one was taken the day before.
We wanted to share the good news with all of you and what better day than Mother's Day! We just ended our first trimester and baby is due in August! Stay tuned to see if it's a boy or girl and follow along on this journey with us. We are both so excited!

Scenario #7: A couple of weeks after we got back from the honeymoon I started feeling a little nauseous. Was it something I ate?
I told my girlfriend and she said I might want to go get a pregnancy test. I said "no way" but she convinced me so I did. Guess what - She was right!
When my husband got home from work that evening, I told him and he was so excited.
