Troppo dolore per quelle persone... Troppo...
E sento in me una tristezza infinita... lacerante.

Prayer
Some days, although we cannot pray, a prayer
utters itself. So, a woman will lift
her head from the sieve of her hands and stare
at the minims sung by a tree, a sudden gift.
Some nights, although we are faithless, the truth
enters our hearts, that small familiar pain;
then a man will stand stock-still, hearing his youth
in the distant Latin chanting of a train.
Pray for us now. Grade 1 piano scales
console the lodger looking out across
a Midlands town. Then dusk, and someone calls
a child's name as though they named their loss.
Darkness outside. Inside, the radio's prayer -
Rockall. Malin. Dogger. Finisterre.
Carol Ann Duffy
The function of prayer is not to influence God, but rather to change the nature of the one who prays.

We visited Jasper National Park back in July of this year. This view was just outside our cabin. I ventured about ten yards to this point as the evening was fast ahead. Little did I know a coyote would soon pass this spot about one minute right after I left. We saw him from our cabin window as he passed right by.
There are some major fires going on in the national park currently. A lightning strike on Sept 1st was the cause. My heart and prayers are with those up in that area.
The Kyodo news agency reported so far, at least 32 people in Japan have been killed and an unknown number injured by the 8.9-magnitude quake and tsunami. But the sheer scale of the devastation suggests that the final death toll will be much higher.

Just lots of prayer beads collected over the years! So many shapes, colours and sizes - I’m constantly amazed!
...a prayer for all those who have passed recently...the famous and the not-so-famous, and sympathies to their families and friends and fans who will miss them dearly. On explore at #14 June 29..wow..thanks!!.
This image I am posting is a macro taken in Costa Rica of a praying mantis. As a child they always fascinated me and I was thrilled to have had the opportunity of seeing the beautiful species of praying mantis that makes his home in Costa Rica.
Wishing you a great and blessed evening !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Please say a prayer for our Little Bungee this day as we have decided to go ahead with another operation in an attempt to help him have a chance at a normal life.
As of this juncture, he is dizzy, can't walk straight and refuses food and water.
His surgery will attempt to remove a growth causing this unfortunate physical symptom interfering with his life.
He is still very young so perhaps he will be able to overcome this infirmary.
Thank you all in advance for your prayer and thoughts.
