Who can resist a Ferrari huh? Especially one in Rosso Corsa!

I think the Ferrari 458 was the prettiest Ferrari since the Testarossa in the 1980s but this Ferrari 488 is quite a looker too!

Annoyingly I focused on the swage line which tricked my camera into focusing on the road reflections, thus making the car slightly out of focus. I should have focused on the wheels! Oh well, an imperfect shot of the model after the really pretty 458 so it's imperfect all 'round - and it is parked on double yellow lines so imperfection all around. I took this in a hurry for my train and didn't even bother to change my f-stop to have better focus range either. Still a beauty to look at though. Enjoy!

To celebrate another day at EXPLORE, my Double Threat Ferrari made it too..

I wanted to share you this, my personal wallpaper, I love Ferrari from they're F1 to Sports Car.. All pictures are taken by me.

As you all know our Hoof has one of the greatest aeronautics and space exploration minds in the world, which can mean he is away for long periods of time.

Yet like so many people during these abnormal times Hoof is now working from our home, the nice thing about this is that at the end of the working day Hoof, Horace and I are able to catch up on times gone by in the drinking room.✈️🚀

In recognition of Hoof’s achievements you will see on the badge of a Ferrari the trademark symbol of the prancing horse, you have guessed it, this is in fact our Hoof, so it of no surprise that he has one of these wonderful motor cars.🐎

After we had consumed a few drinks, then a few more drinks, which in turn has the effect of loosening the tongue, Hoof revealed a never before heard piece of reportage from last year.🍺🍺🍺🍷🍷🍷🍺🍺🍺

Evidently last summer Horace had arranged a late night rendezvous with Petula Trotterby-Smith (a gorgeous Gloucester Old Spot Pig that Horace fancies) so he asked Hoof if he could borrow his Ferrari as he wanted to impress Petula, also Horace’s motorbike just happened to be off the road having some crash repair damage carried out (don’t ask)🙈🐷🌸🐖

Horace was on his way down the A30 at a fair rate of knots with the Ferrari when he was pulled over by the police. Horace duly wound his window down and said good evening officer can I be of assistance, to which the policeman responded “where did a hairy little pig with pink wellies get the money to buy a car like this”.🚔👮‍♂️

Well this tone of talk did ruffle Horace a bit, so he responded “that’s nothing to do with you mate, mind your own business,” the Policeman responded “that’s no way to speak to a police officer” Horace said well don’t speak to me in that tone of phrase.😱

So the policeman said “right you little snorter get out of the car and stand there,” with that the policeman got a tin of yellow spray paint and drew a circle on the road around Horace and said “right pip squeak stand in that circle and don’t move”.😇

“I am going to teach you a lesson, that is no way to speak to a police officer”.

So the policeman took out his truncheon and smashed in all the back lights of the Ferrari, Horace was creased up with laughter, his little trotters were wiping away the tears.👮‍♂️🐷😂😂😂

The policeman said, “I’ll stop you laughing you hairy little rascal”, so the policeman went around and smashed in all the front lights, well by this time Horace was on his knees with laughter.👮‍♂️🐷😂😂😂

“Right you little pork pie kid” Said the policeman, so he got a set of keys, went up one side of the Ferrari and down the other side, by this time Horace’s teeth had nearly fallen out he had laughed so much.👮‍♂️🐷😂😂😂

Again the policeman just looked at Horace and asked “why are you still laughing”,

Horace responded, every time you turn your back, I jump out of the circle.🙈🐷😂

Thank you so much for looking at my photos, the comments and banter are so appreciated, take care and stay safe🍺🍺🍺🍷🍷🍷🐎🐷💃😎😂😂😂

Ferrari 360 Modena

V8-Mittelmotor - 3586 cm3 - 294 (400) kw (PS)

In diesem Sinne!

Probably my favourite car of all time.

How to stop a Ferrari.

The Ferrari logo is one of ten most recognizable emblems in the world. And a black steed on the logo is sure to be associated with a car, bearing the logo. Especially if the steed is proud, handsome and again black, resembling that of a knight’s blazon rather than the company logo.

Ferrari 328, Maserati International Rally 2015, Biarritz

Bittersweet build, glad to have built it but there are still some obvious flaws.

The front end was tough, for the nose I could have replaced the 1x1 red cheese slope in the middle with a 1x1 black tile, but I chose to keep the slope so the nose protrudes a little. And the studded wedge plates for the bonnet made the nose/front a little too high. It was hard to find any compromise.
