These are the snapshots from Travis and Cynthia's wedding shower last weekend. I think they are pretty much self-explanatory, so those of you who are interested - and that would mostly be those who were there - hope you enjoy them. I wish I'd spent more time taking pictures, and less time talking... No - that's not true.. I wouldn't change a thing, except maybe making it last a little longer so that I could have done both. Anyway - here they are. Congratulations to Travis and Cynthia - can't wait till the wedding!

using the royal icing in piping bags (or freezer ziplocs) w tiny holes (you can bore them out with a toothpic), we practiced making lines on clear plastic cutting boards.
I am currently making some pottery paddles in the spare that I am not uploading photos or blogging. redbreadtie.blogspot.com After travelling to Korea I can see the beauty of handmade pottery. Many of the pots had unique paddle marks. I have a couple that I would like to reproduce and I have a couple ideas that I want to create. I, unfortunately do not have the proper tools to make the paddles. However, I will get them made somehow. I may have to hire a cabinet maker or someone like that. I have 10 paddles that I am going to try to make the grooves. If I can come up with 1 or 2 special ones, I will be happy. I also made 10 other paddles to practice on. I'll keep updating the process.
This was a practice shoot we did to get prepared for the SuperPet Expo. We used both my dogs, JoJo and Haley, Jack Russell Terriers and my friend Janet's dog, the 4 Border Collies, for models. With Janet's help we set up some great shots and had a lot of fun.
We're hosting Thanksgiving this year, and decided to practice at making the dressing (or stuffing...we call it dressing). Any excuse to make dressing. :)
