This was a practice shoot we did to get prepared for the SuperPet Expo. We used both my dogs, JoJo and Haley, Jack Russell Terriers and my friend Janet's dog, the 4 Border Collies, for models. With Janet's help we set up some great shots and had a lot of fun.
Practice, playing and a new lens! Some recent pictures - many in Central Park on Mother's day, some just playing with my new 35mm lens and others from some duck visitors on our pool cover. Oh, and some just playing with fire and water. Slowly getting the hang of this....

A public menorah placed by Chabad-Lubavitch stands at Chabad of the Cayman Islands, on Wednesday, Dec. 25, the 1st night of the eight-day holiday. The menorah is part of Chabad-Lubavitch's worldwide Hanukkah awareness campaign that includes 15,000 large public menorahs in more than 100 countries around the world, including in front of landmarks such as the White House, the Eiffel Tower, and Trafalgar Square in London.
The campaign was launched in 1973 by the Rebbe, Rabbi Menachem M. Schneerson, of righteous memory, the most influential rabbi in modern history, forever altering the awareness and practice of the festival. This year’s public lighting carries added significance as it marks 50 years since the first public menorah which was lit at the Liberty Bell in Philadelphia in 1974. Today, public menorahs and Hanukkah displays have become a staple of Jewish cultural and American public life.
Chabad-Lubavitch’s Hanukkah campaign will reach 8 million Jews in more than 100 countries this year.
