Graffito at the harbour of Heraklion (Crete)
The eight-minute footage showing a white Minneapolis police officer slowly killing a black man has spread all around the world and caused an unprecedented outrage in lots of countries, not only in the US.
Last Thursday there was a demonstration against racism in Vienna, organized in connection with this horrible crime. The organizers had expected some 3,000 demonstrators, but eventually 50,000 demonstrators came (the number is an estimation given by the police).
Afterwards there was criticism, because covid-19 distance rules couldn't be followed in such a crowd. I didn't go there for fear of infection, and I suppose many others didn't take part in this demonstration for the same reason. Just imagine the crowd in the time without a pandemic!
I hope very much that all these demonstrations in the US and all over the world (the Vienna demonstration wasn't the only one outside the US) will be effective and lead to substantial changes and improvements in the US. The incumbent POTUS however isn't exactly much help in this situation...
Somebody has told POTUS that there was such a thing as colonialism! "Really? And we did not take part in this smash and grab business," he asks. "Well, we tried," is the answer - "and we were not terribly good at it. But Britain and, of course, Denmark, are still holding on to bits and pieces." "Do they own this land," POTUS wants to know. "Not really. Actually, all the territories are contested when it comes to ownership." "This is precious real estate," POTUS declares, "and I want to have it!" "Greenland?", they ask. "Of course". "And what about the Malvinas?" "What's that, some Italian wine?" he wants to know. "It's a group of islands right at the doorstep of Argentina and the Brits say it's their's. Also, it is close to Antarctica and, so, strategically interesting." "Who do these third rate states think they are!" thunders POTUS. "These effing islands belong to me - even Monroe knew that!"

I know. It is not only geography that Potus needs help with. But this is not serious. Serious is that I took this shot also with the Mitakon Speedmaster (at F 0.95). After identical ways of editing the images (Fuji's raw converter and Luminar mainly) I must say that the bargain tele lens (at its widest) produced the most attractive result. Photo taken contre-jour and a reflector was used.

POTUS Trump renamed the Anahuac NWR after a 12-year-old Houston girl brutally murdered by immigrants, whose death Trump cynically blamed on his political opponent. Wonderful place by any name. Chambers County, Texas.

Built for Minifigures.com for their custom Barrack Obama minifigure.
Sadly I don't actually have the minifigure at the moment so I have had to settle for Betty the Cleaner, vacuuming and polishing in preparation for POTUS return to the Oval Office.
Based on this image as each President changes the decoration a bit apparently:

Round tile should really be reddish brown rather than dark tan but I didn't have a single one in my collection. It just needs an Eagle on there now!
Sorry to my US friends, I know I am missing rather a lot of stars on the Stars & Stripes!

Home based with the 436th AW at Dover Delaware, the Presidential cars, VH-60 and VH-3D helicopters were due to be loaded aboard these and a couple of C-17A Globemasters to return them to the USA.
C-5M's are the latest version of this huge carrier being re-engined, upgraded and fitted with modern 'Glass cockpit' technology.
