Self Potrait riding the Ferry from Knots Island to Currituck County. I took the opportunity to entertain myself during the ride across the Sound.

Playing with light on mirror!

Wrinkles should merely indicate where smiles have been.

a) How you composed or “framed” your image.

b) no, it doesn't demonstrate rule of thirds

c) i dodged and burned the picture to focus on his face, since it is a portrait.

d) i edited it by using dodging to highlight certain areas of his face.

e) the objective was to take portraits in the manual setting, so that we learn how to adjust the camera on our own.

f) I chose this picture as my favorite portrait because it is clear, focused and uses dim lighting to add an intimate effect.
