This edition of S&C was themed around the movie, Weird Science, and the fact that Dr Boork has just started his Ph.D. program at Berkeley in Geochemistry. Hence, the colors and containers.
Harry Potter themed ATCs in honor of the last book's release. Die cut and distressed "Potions" and adhered to black alligator paper. Set corners with screw looking snaps. The jar of tea leaves was stamped twice on stazon onto acetate and I highlighted the lid with a silver leafing pen from the reverse. Then I cut it out and sealed into a pocket with glossy accents, filled with grass seeds, and sealed completely.

The Potions classroom was located in the West Lot Dwelling at Shaker Village. It was dark and cold, and even though it wasn't underground in a dungeon, it felt like it was. When Prof. Snape blew into the room like a cold front, it turned frigid.
HoggsTowne was a Harry Potter-inspired event held at Shaker Village of Pleasant Hill. We had dinners in a "Great Hall," attended classes and even took final exams. Words and pictures cannot tell you how much fun it was.
