I created these little charms for a Halloween swap. Tiny little glass bottles were filled with glitter, to which was added a little bone (sculpted out of clay) and a pearl.

The skull beads were purchased.

Both the bottle and the skull were aged a bit. Various fibers finish off the look.

she had them pick a bottle for their potions and then pour in different colored sand for this potions class. plus another party favor. the sand was a huge hit with the kids. it really was a good idea b/c jackson know OF harry potter but hasn't seen movies or books, etc. yet the party was still fun for all.
