This is one of my favorites! "Hag's Howl"...who knows what it is, but sounds creepy huh?! One of my original "potions"...if anyone else has this label, they plagiarized it! LOL! Look for this item and more like it this Halloween season on eBay! Seller: wyonative75. These are the originals-others are just copycats! :)

In 2007, Potion proposed this reactive hotel lobby piece as a means of greeting guests arriving at the hotel and seeing off guests leaving the hotel. We imagined that the projected light graphics would respond to the guests' motion and might be changed for each season and in response to special events hosted at the hotel. Our hope was that this simple, reactive light installation would give guests a sense of delight and joy in the midst of what may be a hectic travel schedule.

This retail experience begins with a vertical display of snowboarding products. A wooly hat hangs next to a pair of headphones and waterproof gloves. The backdrop appears to be a collage of snowboarding action photos. However, when a shopper approaches the display, they realize that the photos are actually slow-motion videos. When the shopper takes a product off the wall, the video underneath it speeds up to real time. Snowboarders take flight, do tricks in the air and crash into the snow. When the product is placed back on the display, the video freezes in place. Potion’s vertical retail display can be customized to trigger any kind of video clip when a product is touched, from testimonials to reality video to feature film trailers. With every interaction, the customer is rewarded with a high quality digital payoff.

“Every man has his secret sorrows which the world knows not; and often times we call a man cold when he is only sad.” - Henry W. Longfellow

Inspired by master photographer Eadweard Muybridge’s studies of animal motion, Potion designed the Living Wall along the spacious lobby of the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine to further connect the school’s community.

In collaboration with American History Workshop, Potion created the dynamic, wall-mounted displays featuring over 40 animated scenes drawing on Muybridge’s detailed studies of animal motion. The scenes are projected in high definition onto nine screens hand-sculpted by Michael Singer Studios. In addition to motion studies, each scene presents text, photos and video clips, all contributed by the veterinary community, and displayed dynamically through Potion’s generative algorithm. Potion’s web-based content management system allows the school to update and further customize their wall over time.

Potions ballgown I created for the Infinitus 2011 Harry Potter con. I was 7 months pregnant at the time so the waist line had to be generous. The main image is painted and the jewelery hand-crafted to match.
