Actually, they’re hairy pots from the Hairy Pot Plant Company and they were potted…ooops! I mean SPOTTED at Walmer Castle near the gardens there. It was such a whimsical little SPOT that I had to STOP and take a few photos!
...of home-made strawberry jam
It was slightly fuid as is the custom but the flavour was far superior to shop-bought and the pot was soon empty.
One of two enormous purple flower pots that adorn one of the entrances to Roma Street Parkland. Against the green backdrop, it really does stand out. Sorry, I can't name the flowers.
In Autumn, it really is a joy to see such colour.
(In case anyone is wondering ... there was no trick photography involved here. I just captured it as it was).
Another view of the truck from the last post. I was very excited to capture the double rainbow in the background.
One of my new favorite spots nestled away in the South Mountain Game Lands - love when I find a new place in the mountains that is relatively unknown, and what's even better is when the road to get to places like this winds along the mountains and crosses multiple streams. Weekend getaways like this make you feel like you are living an epic journey on the big screen #wanderlust #explore #mountainadventures #carolinaphotographer #offroad #offbeatenpath #adventure #outdoors #canonphotographer #canon90d

What is it? The curved piece (upper) is a vertical divider, which slides in or out. Possibly for cutlery (flat ware) on a table. Any ideas or answers appreciated!
A pleasant Spring thunderstorm rolls over the mountain meadows of west Arvada, and into the Denver metro area. The westbound Union Pacific coal train takes on a pot of gold part of the story.
Part of an exhibition on design and architecture from around the world currently on show at Somerset House London. This is part of the Indian installation.

The pot signal on the UP's North Yard lead is set to stop at Western Ave Tower A-2 while some tea-kettle poses for photographers.
The promenade Tywyn, Wales. The strength of Storm Ciara evident, with a concrete bench swept from who knows where.
The potting shed is her new favorite spot,
soil, seeds, tools and rainbow pots
all waiting for the gardeners magic touch,
to cast her spell and fill them up
with brilliant seeds and garden blooms,
with hopes and dreams, they take no room,
but are essential to the master's plan.
Nothing can grow in barren sand,
but needs the warmth of summer rain,
the sun to come and shine again.
With garden gloves and large brimmed hat,
she sets to work and just like that
the plants respond to tender care
their buds opening with dazzling flair
to brighten up a dull dark day
and chase those pesky blues away.

This is a reflection seen in a glazed plant pot at the garden centre. I thought it made an interesting abstract.
The Sheboygan coal loads crawl west up the grade on wet rails as a fast moving storm unleashed this scene.

Spoiler: While making a big pot of sweet and sour cabbage soup, the reflection in the side of the pot caught my eye. I hope the dish won't run away with the spoon.
1960 Plymouth Fury fin at Big M. All the MOPAR cars from this era are notorious for their failure-prone chrome-plating and you can really see it here. Not just a few pits here and there, every inch of this piece is heavily frosted with barnacles. Makes a nice texture for pictures tho. Night, total darkness with white flashlight from 2 directions in 14-seconds.
