Deep blue bleeding into black, latex catching light like liquid sin, silver crosses dangling like promises or threats—depending on who's asking. This isn't fashion. This is a manifesto.
This is walking into the club and owning every shadow, every bass drop, every pair of eyes that can't look away.
Look at those earrings—massive cross statements hanging like gothic chandeliers .
That corset cinched with precision and decorated with more crosses because one is never enough when you're making a point. That top with its ribbed texture and dramatic sleeves. Those boots—oh, those boots—covered in starlight or shattered glass or whatever gods sprinkle on footwear meant for dancing until dawn in underground venues where the music is loud and the lights are low and everyone understands the assignment.
This is Sisters of Mercy energy. This is Joy Division meets Siouxsie Sioux meets every darkwave playlist that ever made you feel something. This is goth not as costume but as religion. As lifestyle. As the only logical response to a world that's too bright and too loud and doesn't understand why some of us prefer our music dark and our fashion darker.
She's not trying. She just is. Born for basement clubs and foggy nights and that moment when the DJ drops the perfect track and you realize you're exactly where you belong.
The crosses aren't irony. They're iconography. Sacred and profane all at once. Beauty in blasphemy. Power in the symbols others fear to wear.
This is Lucretia looking back at herself and liking what she sees. This is the reflection that stares down the world and doesn't blink first.

It's that time of year again, time for the 6th annual Halloween Hellraiser event at Soundproof underground music club! The event will take place on Wednesday, October 27th from 1-7pm SLT.
This year is an especially frightful treat, featuring 3 DJs, a shopping area with Halloween-inspired exclusives from 7 fantastic SL designers and *3* separate costume contests with a prize of 2000L to win each time.
Here's how it works: There are 3 DJ sets from 1pm to 7pm. During every 2 hour DJ set there will be a costume contest and public voting. At the end of that 2 hour period voting is tallied and a winner of the contest is announced. So you get 3 chances to win!
So come in your best creepy looks or just come as you are and dance to the ghoulish and spooky Halloween music mixes by our 3 great DJs:

Behind the Wheel (Shep Pettibone mix)/
Route 66 (The Beatmasters mix)
A Depeche Mode 12-inch (30.5cm) single I picked up decades ago. The A-side, “Behind The Wheel”*, is a fairly standard dance remix of one of several singles from their 1987 Music for the Masses album.
The B-side, a catchy remix of DM's cover of “(Get Your Kicks on) Route 66, is why I bought this. This remix, complete with audio clips lifted from the 1970s American game show Name That Tune and one audio clip midway through which sounds like a 1950s-60s public service announcement, is as wild as the original is laid back.
*While doing my research, I've found out the decorative umlaut ( ¨ ) seen here on the cover is called a metal umlaut (or röck döts). Unfortunately, the MacOS Option-U plus letter keystroke sequence does not allow umlauts to be used improperly.

i love adam and the ants...the b side of this is plastic surgery, which is brilliant but very scary.
i think both were used in the derek jarman film "jubilee", but it's been a long time since i saw it. the cover shot is certainly from the film, and the slits were in it too.
i bought this in plastic wax records in bristol, were i used to spend most of my saturdays about twelve years ago. it was still there last time i looked, on gloucester road.
