The view from the Shoshone Trail.

In the basement of Renaissance Book Shop, Milwaukee

Fairly self explanatory. Brought the flower inside for a more controlled environment (read: no wind) for a little macro photography.

For today's Whispery White Wednesday theme: White Jewellery, another shot of my Grandmother's pearls - this time with her pearl earrings as well.

I still find that photographing white is a challenge, even with the Canon's adjustable White Balance I don't manage true white. This has been adjusted using Picnik (and it's still not white ... doh!!)

Uploaded on Sunday 7th June as backfill for days I missed on my 365 Project

5D Mark II and Nikkor 135mm f/2.8 AIS with Haoda F to EOS adapter

As before, but with a goodly bit more gaussian blur in post process, and a wee bit of feathering of the selected areas.

Oxford canal at night

this set was overexposed, so i used photoshop curves to bring out the color!! :D

very blurry, but still a picture. haha

Between the breeze and this little creature being on the under side of a plant, this was a good challenge.

Old test borings, abandoned copper mine. Warming filter.
