I took this photo during a morning walk around The Bristol, an apartment complex in Greenville, SC. There was a lot of bamboo around the complex, held back by a black chainlink fence.

I grabed this photo while riding by. Would love to have done a study of this barn.

Funny things happen when I get bored whilst driving...anywho, this is actually a remnant image from the summer that was eh originally, and then butchered in postprocessing to make it look cheesy and overdramatic.

Say what you will, but I like it.

Also, the (relatively) sharp the horizon features surprised me. I seem to have a steadier hand while driving 60 MPH than I thought.

A Virginia Beach sunrise, at about 530am before the sun had even risen. I love the effect that you can see up in the clouds where the first rays of light from the sun still below the local horizon starts beaming through the clouds creating a rippling effect. You don't always get this effect, and when you do it might only last for a minute or two before it's gone. This shot had a lot of potential but unfortunately the scene just looked flat and dull.
