finally working on edits.
finally feeling useful.
feeling human.
but no way was i staying chained to the desk all day. the sun flooded into my office and by 2 p.m. its call was too strong, so we headed out ... me 'n the dogs and the sunshine. in spite of the mud, we had a good time.
Wild mushrooms taken at the cabin on Thanksgiving weekend.
6 exposures merged into HDR using Photomatix 3.0.
Low-fi with a touch of CS3 Provia.
Taken by my WalMart Global Points camera which goes up to a whopping 1.3 interpolated MP. It's a digital plasticam/junkcam. I'd classify it as the digital lomo.
This photo is an example result of some Photoshop techniques that I am trying to learn. This is a result of my own trials and errors. I think this is an interesting example of what some experimentation can result in.

3 - Added saturation (blue)
4 - Lightened pelicans head using dodge.
5 - Sharpened
6 - Added vignette

i haven't done any matea-post-processed....some photos really lend themselves to the playing-around that i do....this is my first of my girl.
i like the effect i'm getting from over post-processing...not sure why...i guess it feels more creative than simply downloading and uploading pics....and i enjoy the painterly quality of it. not sure what others think...
