A heavily postprocessed version of the scenery seen here , a bit further to the right though.

This actually was nighttime, exposed for 10seconds with an aperture of f4, desaturated and tossed it back and forth in PS, et voilà.

This action intensifies all colors except skin tones, and lightens skin tones, also includes a layer for fixing reds, just paint in the layer mask with a soft white brush at 15% and gradually remove the red.

I think the fire and water make a rather nice contrast.

Strobist: One Vivtar 285HV fired through two layers of tissue paper adjacent to the water, acting as an undersized softbox.

Shot on film with the Leica M6 and the 35mm Summilux pre-ASPH. Then manipulated the heck out of it and used textures from Flypaper. Love the textures they have!
