St. Swithin's Day is the 15 July. According to folklore if it rains on St. Swithin’s Day, it will rain for 40 days, but if it is fair, 40 days of fair weather will follow. The attendees at this conference will obviously be hoping for rain on the day!

This Exhibition is dedicated to People's Spiritual Connections, Friendship, and Unconditional Love...You can't choose the outlook, but you always can choose how to treat others and to be kind to others.. about different types of connections, nature and people, friendships with animals, and appreciating another kind of being on Earth.
We are all connected in one or another way... There are not only romantic relationships. For example Twin Flames:

Contrary to popular belief, the concept of twin flames is not the same as soul mates. Your twin flame doesn't even have to be someone you fall in love with (although it often is). "This kind of high-level, soul-based connection isn’t about romance. It’s about spiritual growth," says Vallejos. "You meet them and your life just completely changes. You start seeing the world differently. It pushes you to want to engage with the divine, shift consciousness, and become a better, soulful being in this experience." Not been on Flickr for ages. Not been too well both physically and mentally but decided to at least show that I am still here and surviving! Sat in the waiting room in the CT Suite at our local hospital and couldn’t resist snapping a few shots of the posters adorning the walls. This one is for World Radiography Day, celebrated every year on the 8th of November to celebrate the discovery of X-rays on that date!

rather rare one here that does not look very Soviet at all. only 24,000 printed. Artist is Vera Livanova Publisher is Soviet Artist. Judging by the garb and the first sign this is a poster about Africa. . 1st sign says something like Free all of Africa. 2nd sign at the bottom of the poster says down with colonialism- thanks Goetz Burrggaf.
This is a poster I designed for a hypothetical exhibit of Georgia O'Keeffe paintings at the New Mexico Museum of Art. The close-up of the flower depicted in the poster is a rendering of a photo that I took a few years ago, inspired by O'Keeffe's paintings of flowers.
