Florentine: "Je suis là pour faire des choses avec mes mains." www.ferruelguedon.com
today I would like to introduce you to my new project, I call it TTPP, the toilet portrait project. A while ago I took this photo and I noticed how different and often with how much love for details toilets are designed, what makes them very interesting rooms. On the other hand, toilets are also very intimate rooms, here we like to be alone, do not want to be disturbed. And actually not to be photographed either...
From this came the idea to make a cool series about people in toilets. And I must confess, it is much more difficult to take these photos than portraits for the "What the hell...?" series. Not only finding interesting toilets, that's still relatively easy, but finding someone who wants to be portrayed there. It takes a lot more persuasion and you get some critical looks... but it's fun and now I hope you enjoy it!
Petra - "I want to show people how they can live their life, if they belive in theirself."
Ella - "I'm showing people that dreams can come true, if you fight for them, really hard."
Barbara - "...the longer I stay on planet Earth, the more I'm fascinated watching diversity of life in general and human beings above all - wish to be one sparkling star amongst all."
"I am here to not only enjoy the destinations of life but much more the adventure that get's us there. One day at a time."

Today is my birthday and what I didn't know until this morning, it's also World Toilet Day. Well, if that isn't a coincidence... ;-)

I keep working on this project, currently a few pictures from it are being shown in an exhibition in Düsseldorf.
