Keith Haring (May 4, 1958 – February 16, 1990) was an American artist whose pop art emerged from the New York City graffiti subculture of the 1980s. His animated imagery has become a widely recognized visual language. Much of his work includes sexual allusions that turned into social activism by using the images to advocate for safe sex and AIDS awareness.
His later work often conveyed political and societal themes— anti-crack, anti-apartheid, safe sex, homosexuality and AIDS—through his own iconography. (From Wikipedia)

On the doorstep of the Spring season, the adventurous Peach Riot band member Frankie has packed a generous ensemble for her long-awaited return to the great outdoors. Months of hard-pouring, bitingly-cold rain had swept across her most frequented venues for hiking. When they finally reeled back, the forests and meadows had sprouted back with a far richer shade of green than had been seen in a long while. Frankie - eager as ever to fill her lungs with the crisp cool air of the new year - stands at the ready for the wilderness to welcome her back.

What would have otherwise been a quiet and clear day in a small, unassuming neighborhood suddenly quivered with excitement as Gigi - a fiery redheaded third of Peach Riot - found herself rushing down the sidewalk from the nearest pet supply store. Trusted with the care of a neighbor's beloved pet cat, the one item that Gigi had neglected to prepare for was actually convincing the independently-spirited feline to willingly go for a walk. Surely the cat would willingly walk with Gigi as long as there was a sizeable bag of motivation held at her side, right? Such a theory evaporated as Gigi found herself the one running to keep the newly-purchased bag of cat nip from getting scattered on the pavement from her ward's claws. After all was said and done, all the exhausted Gigi could do that morning was ask herself, "who was really walking who?"
