We made it back to LA today, and spent the whole day relaxing. It's nice to have decent internet again :) Pretty much all the hotels we stayed in had really dodgy internet.
I had some other pictures, but had forgotten to take my focus off manual, so they were all very blurry. This one will have to do.

the most endearing thing about bubba is that despite the fact that he is a klutzy and ungraceful swimmer, he LOVES to play in the water. here he is showing that jollyball shard who's boss. :)

My car's a/c is on the fritz... it blows hot air briefly, but then slightly cool air. Although, it's ten times better than the temperature and freakin' Virginia humidity that's outside. So I'll take it.
I've always prided myself on being an "outdoorsy" kind of girl. I love the fresh air, I love natural stuff (hey - I love my technology too); I've never been a huge fan of air conditioning. I'll take the hot house over air conditioning any day. However, this year is just too damn hot to be walking around the house with the windows open. I'll take the a/c, please. I'm not above admitting that I need it :)

oh and PS - I got a new AUTOMATIC 50mm. aaand I freakin' love it. The one I bought on eBay was manual. Dumb liar who sold it. Anyways, if anyone wants to buy it from me (the manual one), you'll get it for cheap! Lemme know!
