“Portugal Best Cycling” a.k.a. “Turaventur” - this week long trip involves (mostly) easy cycling from village to village with plenty of interesting stops, with a focus on food, wine, and, of course, castles. We stayed at a different place nearly every night and had an excellent guide - Jorge.

Skoda 38t and SdKfz 232

 

The 38t was a Czech designed and produced tank that entered service just in time for Germany to take delivery when they invaded Czechoslovakia in 1938. SdKfz vehicles where fast moving armored wheeled reconnaissance vehicles. This one had eight wheel drive. If memory serves, all eight wheels could be steered.

 

In the late 70s I was into tanks and had a minor collection of models. I'm posting these shots for chuckles and grins...
