The daylily cultivar "Happy Returns" is an early bloomer. On this date it was the first of my daylily collection to display a bloom in my poolside container garden.

We have not had a sunset like this for sometime now, so here is another shot of this lovely evening ,We are expecting An arctic chill from the North on Thursday and Friday and into the weekend with - 10 temperatures and snow, i`ll believe it when we get it right down here on the South coast. I`ll have my camera ready and charged up just in case .

The weather this week has been amazing: temperature at a very pleasant 23/24 (73/74), sunshine and total blue skies for three days in a row. I spent a couple of hours yesterday sitting by the pool and soaking it all up. Some of you might recognise the chair(s) from London as I've photographed them before but never with a swimming pool behind them! :-))
