This is a Banana Spider but I call him "Poodle Spider" because of the poodle like tufts of hair on his legs!

I have a pretty healthy imagination and sometimes see things in the clouds that others don't. However, on this occasion when I glanced out the back door, I was pretty sure that I saw a huge pink poodle hanging out in the sky. Can you see him too? Learned via FB the next day that a friend had her pet poodle pass away that same day. I shared with her that he made a brief visit to see me on his way across the rainbow bridge and passed this photo on to her.

To be honest I'm not so sure about this but am posting anyway as you may enjoy it. Not everything has to be perfect.

As mentioned in my most recent upload we were expected more storms and on Friday afternoon they arrived with vengeance.

Harpo gets very defensive with the loud thunder and barks at it, as if that will scare it away.

I sat on the front doorstep with him and we watched the rain and lightening and listened to the thunder. I tried to keep him calm and he just sat, transfixed like this, watching and listening.

This is an impression of what it was like.

Bau the red poodle portrait

We have decided since her confirmation is anything but true toy poodle...overbite, no tail, long body..we are going for an unconventional clip.....to accent her best feature~ her "so darn cuteness!"

yes, it is time for an excess of

I heard Christmas music, and it was awful,

not a nice carol, but something modern

and country and warbly ... :(

Look how much bigger Murphy's feet are than Clifford's. I thinks he's gonna be a horse!

I love everything on her miniature toy sized body!

Every evening my Poodle Laika challenges me for a bit of Play, ending with a treat for him and Palpitations for me.

Have a nice Saturday!

Our friend's mother loved poodles and had a big collection of poodle brooches and pins. She had a beautiful memorial service last month and hundreds of pins were on display and anyone interested was encouraged to take one home. I picked this with the intention of taking it's photo and because she had a brown poodle.

She is so loyal, and so sweet!

My dear old boy made it, was touch and go the last couple of weeks. Looks like we have the medication right at the moment. He is most active I have seen him for a while so we had a party for him at the park tonight. He's had lots of chipolata sausages and I give him his kibble at the park, he's more likely to eat it there. Happy Birthday Symi I love you heaps

My little girl right after her haircut. She had a hard day, the groomer was mean to her. Luckily I walked in just as it was going on, and Bell won't EVER go back there. The place is in Petaluma Ca. it's called Dapper Dawg. Just letting you know so your informed.

This is a photo I took for a poster at one of the local libraries here that is used to encourage kids to read .

My dog Vinnie exploring the great outdoors.

This is Maple last week. He was groomed yesterday. A new groomer started working at the place where I take him. I took photos of what he looked like after his last grooming, and said specifically that we want the Town and Country cliip. When I picked up Maple, his body looked fine, but the groomer removed his entire top knot! I am so upset. He has the flattest little pinhead and does not look like my Maple. I will be having a conversation with the groomer today as she was gone by the time I picked him up yesterday. I know there are poodle owners who like the flat head look, but to me he looks off balance with his big fluffy body and tiny bony head. He looks ridiculous!!

I am very reluctant to post any photos of my boy. Now we shall see how long it takes for his hair to grow out. I shouldn't be too sad though, because Maple is a healthy dog. It's only hair....sigh....(but really...grrrrr!)

Molly: "Back up you guys! Can't you see Rufus is posing!" And Molly has become quite the little Miss Bossy Poodle too!
